Right Time Railway

It is always South West Trains aim to run a "right time railway" - and this morning (Wednesday 25 August) we did just that. All the morning peak trains arrived at London Waterloo at the advertised time or before. Our maintenance staff played their part as well, and no trains were short of coaches because of breakdowns.

It takes a lot of effort by staff on trains and at stations - not to mention those "behind the scenes" in depots, signalling centres and other places - to make this happen. We are grateful for their efforts and pleased that they were rewarded this morning by this excellent performance.

We are also proud that we were able to deliver to you - our customers - the service you expect. We know that getting you to your destination on time is one of the most important things you want, and we will continue to work hard to do this as often as we can.
