Issue 5: Service to Hounslow Loop


The following answer was published in Issue 5 (Jul/Aug 2004) of e-motion magazine.
Question Why are there no extra trains during the rush hour on the Hounslow Loop? A 30-minute frequency during the day is fine, but doesn't the overcrowded peak-hour schedule warrant additional services?
Answer

From the December 2004 timetable, we are hoping to provide additional services on the Hounslow Loop (see the Useful Information section for a list of stations) in partnership with the Strategic Rail Authority as we are aware that the current peak-hour service does not fully meet demand on this route.
