Luggage impacts on overcrowding

Question Keeping seats clear of luggage would assist with overcrowding. Why don’t you enforce this on your trains?
Answer We do rely on passengers having courtesy for others and storing their coats, bags and suitcases on the overhead racks.  Our Guards will also monitor the situation and speak with passengers who may be acting inconsiderately.
