Why do we have to queue to purchase tickets?
We are currently installing brand new self-service ticket machines at all our stations. This will help reduce queuing times by giving passengers far more options than are offered by the current machines. The new machines are ‘chip and pin’ enabled and can accept debit and credit cards. They also offer a much wider range of ticket types and destinations than existing machines. In the meantime we are doing our best to reduce queuing times by using our mobile ticket sellers to assist during the morning peak.
