What are South West Trains doing to promote security at stations and on trains?
We have added CCTV to many of our stations and our new Desiro trains also have this facility. We also have over 50 Travel Safe Officers who patrol the network in order to offer added security to our customers and staff. We also ensure that a guard is on every passenger train that we operate and in the event of any emergency all our trains are equipped with alarms to alert the driver. All our stations now have 24-hour helppoints which can be used for information or during an emergency.
