Advance fares were introduced in May 2008 and replaced our Apex and SuperAdvance fares.
We offer great discounts when you buy your ticket in advance on many longer distance routes.
So, if you're thinking of visiting family or friends, being a tourist for the day or enjoying a short break in any of the destinations shown on the map below, including London, remember that the earlier you book, the less you’re likely to pay. And with selected Railcards, there are further discounts available off the fare.
Please see here for terms and conditions when using Railcards for Advance fares.
