There are two main types of Season Ticket: the Rail Only and the Travelcard Season Ticket. Both of these can be purchased for children for at least half of the adult cost. First Class Season Tickets are also available, where such accommodation is provided.
Rail Only Season Ticket
This allows you unlimited daily travel between any two named stations, and also between intermediate stations. It does not include travel on Transport for London bus services, London Underground, Docklands Light Railway or Croydon Tramlink services.
Travelcard Season Ticket
This offers the same benefits as the Rail Only Season Ticket, but also includes travel on most Transport for London bus services, London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, Croydon Tramlink and National Rail services within the London Fare Zones covered by your ticket. The Travelcard area has six zones. You pay for the zones through which you wish to travel and you can then make unlimited journeys within these zones. Travelcard Season Tickets are available from stations both outside and inside the Travelcard area.
Length of Season Ticket
Weekly
Valid for seven consecutive days, and may start on any day of the week. Usually costs less than five Standard Day Return tickets.
Monthly
Valid for one calendar month and may start on any day of the month. Saves you at least 4% on the equivalent number of weekly Season Tickets.
Flexible
Monthly Plus Valid for any number of months and days between one month and a year. Saves you at least 4% on the equivalent number of weekly Season Tickets. Ideal for extending your Season Ticket up to your holiday.
Annual/Gold Card
Valid for 12 calendar months. Offers 52 weeks of travel for the price of 40, a saving of 23% on the equivalent number of weekly Season Tickets.
Photocards
To buy a Season ticket, you will need a recent passport-type photograph so we can issue you with a photocard. (Photocards are not needed for adult 7 Day Travelcards for journeys wholly within the London Fare Zones Area).
Car Park Season Ticket
If you regularly park your car at the station, this type of ticket offers significant savings. For details, tickets and renewals, please ask at the station at which you wish to park your vehicle. Alternatively, contact our Customer Service Centre.
