Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 September
The lines will be closed from late evening between Basingstoke and Winchester on these dates. The normal train service will run until the 2135 London Waterloo-Weymouth in one direction and the 2010 Weymouth-London Waterloo in the other. From then, most services will be replaced by buses between Basingstoke and Winchester. The 2205 and 2305 services from London Waterloo will be diverted after Woking to run via Guildford, Havant and Fareham with longer journey times.

2057 (Monday to Wednesday) Salisbury to Bristol Temple Meads will only run as far as Bath Spa. Passengers complete their journeys by First Great Western train services.
2120 (Monday to Wednesday) London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction will only run as far as Salisbury. A replacement bus service will run from Salisbury to Yeovil Junction.
2225 (Monday to Wednesday) Bristol Temple Meads to Salisbury will be replaced by a bus service.
Bus: Bristol Temple Meads 2225, Bath Spa 2255, Bradford-on-Avon 2317, Trowbridge 2325, Westbury 2340, Warminster 2355, Salisbury 0040.
2230 (Monday to Wednesday) Exeter St. Davids to Salisbury will only run as far as Yeovil Junction. A taxi will be provided from Yeovil Junction to Salisbury.
2335 (Monday to Wednesday) London Waterloo to Salisbury will leave London Waterloo at 2339 and stop additionally at Farnborough and Fleet (to carry passengers who would normally use the 2339 to Southampton Central). The train will then run about 15 minutes later than normal from Basingstoke to Salisbury.
Parts of the railway may be closed for overnight engineering work or emergency repairs. We may then have to alter some late evening and early morning trains or replace them by buses at short notice. Please check your journey details for late alterations if you intend to travel after 2300 or before 0530.
