No major engineering work planned this Summer Holiday season on main line routes!
Our main lines to Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth; to Portsmouth; and to Salisbury and the West of England are clear of major work up to and including the weekend of 6/7 September.
The August Bank Holiday weekend will have a full train service over most of our network - unlike previous holiday weekends there are no major projects in our area this year.
Some work will still be necessary on suburban routes, and overnight work may still affect services late Saturday evening (after 2300) and early Sunday morning (before 0830). See our “engineering work calendar” for details.

If you intend travelling after 23:00 or before 05:30 please check train times here to confirm your journey, as engineering works that affect these services may not be indicated on these summaries.
