Heathrow-Feltham Railair offers a great alternative for travelling to Heathrow Airport. Simply take the train to Feltham, which is less than five miles from the airport.
The 285 bus takes you right up to Hatton Cross (for terminal 4) and Heathrow Central Bus Station (for terminals 1,2 and 3).
The 490 bus will take you to Hatton Cross and then continue on to terminal 5.
Value-for-money
Heathrow-Feltham Railair offers great cost savings. If you are a holder of a Travelcard which includes Zone 6, you may use Heathrow-Feltham Railair at no extra charge. A separate ticket for bus travel only can also be bought on the bus.
Through tickets are available from most stations on route 285 and from 18 May 2008, will also be available on route 490.
Getting to Feltham by train
From Waterloo there are four trains every hour at off-peak times (generally 9:30am to 9pm) Monday to Saturday, and four trains an hour on Sundays. During peak hours, there are up to six trains an hour between Waterloo and Feltham.
From Reading towards Waterloo, there are two trains an hour off-peak and up to four trains an hour peak times, Monday to Saturday.

Feltham Bus Terminal
The Feltham Bus Terminal is located directly on the station forecourt. The bus journey takes from 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the time of day and the terminal you are travelling to.
Buses to and from Feltham run about every 10 minutes (less frequently in the evenings and on Sundays).
