Berkshire Walks

Also known as the Royal County of Berkshire, Berkshire is home to the royal residence of Windsor Castle. Famous for its open expanses of high chalk downs, the county of Berkshire provides walkers with freedom and space to roam around. The Ridgeway National Trail also runs through the end of the county . No special equipment is needed, just a pair of comfortable shoes, come along and take it at your own pace. The county is known for being very 'hilly' therefore very popular with hikers as well as walkers with smaller and well-wooded valleys draining into the River Lambourn and River Pang.

With walks ranging from a gentle stroll to those that stride out for the more experienced walker, there will be a walk to suit everyone so why not have a look at our Sunningdale to Windsor to Eton walk in which you can take a gentle route along Virginia Water lake, through manicured gardens and Windsor Park. Why not experience some history and talk a walk around Wraysbury. Follow this trail across parkland, taking in a historic tree and the scene of the sealing of the Magna Carta.
