Extra space at Wokingham car park

There will be lots more room for parking at Wokingham station as work is well underway to add over 150 new car park spaces.
Clare Sharp, South West Trains’ Project Manager, said: “The additional spaces are great news for passengers at Wokingham.  The integration of car and train travel is becoming more and more popular so extra space for parking is a welcome addition to the station’s facilities.

For us to create as many spaces as possible we have optimised unused areas within the station boundary.”
To complement the works at Wokingham we will be upgrading all lighting within the car park. 

The work to extend the car park will be completed beginning of April.
