First Class Off Peak tickets

Have you travelled at Off Peak times and wondered how much it would cost to travel First Class? You can now buy First Off Peak Day tickets for most journeys on South West Trains and save money compared to buying First Anytime tickets. 

When you travel First Class you'll find a number of advantages compared to Standard Class travel. You'll benefit from a wider reclining seat; most trains offer power points for your laptop or mobile phone; and more table space to work in.

Buying a First Class Off Peak train ticket is easy - you can buy it from our self-service ticket machines, buy online, through our Customer Service Centre or any of our staffed ticket offices.

 

When is a First Class Off Peak ticket valid?

First Off Peak Day Single

Ticket validity: Valid on the date printed on the ticket.

Travel time: If you are travelling into London, the First Off Peak ticket is valid on trains arriving into London Waterloo or London Victoria at 1000 or later, Monday to Friday. For journeys avoiding London, First Off Peak tickets are valid after 0930, Monday to Friday. They are valid at any time during weekends and public holidays.

 

First Off Peak Day Return

Ticket validity: Valid on the date printed on the ticket.

Outward travel time: If you are travelling into London, the First Off Peak ticket is valid on trains arriving into London Waterloo or London Victoria at 1000 or later, Monday to Friday. For journeys avoiding London, First Off Peak tickets are valid after 0930, Monday to Friday. They are valid at any time during weekends and public holidays.

Return travel time: Not valid on trains leaving London Waterloo, Vauxhall or London Victoria between 1600 and 1900, inclusive, Monday to Friday. They are valid at any time during weekends and public holidays.
