Lake Landscaping Project

Work has been completed on an Isle of Wight Community Rail Partnership led project to improve the environment around Lake railway station. The area at the back of the platform on Araluen Way has been cleared of unsightly vegetation and landscaped to improve the area for users of the station and the community alike. A partnership approach between the Isle of Wight Community Rail Partnership, Island Line Trains, Lake Parish Council and the Youth Offending Team has enabled this project to proceed.
