PlusBus

PlusBus is a great way to add bus travel to your rail ticket saving you time and money on buying a separate bus ticket for your journey. PlusBus is available from over 270 stations around Great Britain and costs from £2 per day for unlimited bus travel in a pre-defined area. You can add PlusBus to the start, end or both ends of your journey.

If you travel regularly, why not add a PlusBus season ticket to your rail tickets? PlusBus season tickets are available for periods of 7 days, 1, 3 or 12 months.

You can buy your combined rail and PlusBus ticket from any staffed station ticket office or through our Customer Service Centre. If you hold a Railcard, you could save 34% on your combined rail and PlusBus ticket!

Getting to and from the airport is easy with South West Trains, whether you're heading abroad for a family holiday or making an important business trip.

Getting to the Airport

Please allow a minimum of 10 minutes to connect between your train and any bus or coach to Heathrow Airport. Journey times will be affected by traffic, especially during morning and evening peak times.

Combined rail and coach tickets are available for journeys via Woking. Child discounts are available but no Railcard discount is given for the coach portion of the combined ticket.

Southampton Airport

You can easily reach Southampton Airport from Southampton Airport (Parkway) station - only 99 steps seperate the station and the terminal, making it one of the easiest airport transfers in the country.

The station is served by regular direct services to and from Weymouth, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Basingstoke and London. There are also direct CrossCountry services to Reading, Oxford, the Midlands and the North.

A convenient shuttle runs direct from the station to Bournemouth Airport. Child and Railcard discounts are available on combined rail and bus tickets.

Rail Rangers & Rovers

Rangers & Rovers are often the best option if you plan to do a lot of travel in a geographic area and will often work out cheaper than buying individual tickets. Ranger tickets are valid for one day and Rovers are valid for 3 or more days.
