Our network

Network map - We operate a range of services, including frequent metro style services in South West London; and suburban commuter and longer distance services to Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset and the West of England.

Engineering work - Our services may be affected by scheduled engineering works to maintain and improve the rail network. Much of this work is carried out at weekends and public holidays, although some evening and early morning services may also be affected.

On board our trains

Catering - On-board catering is provided (in partnership with Rail Gourmet) by an at-seat trolley service on many of our longer distance trains. Our catered routes include London Waterloo to Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Exeter St Davids. Some buffet services are also available on evening peak trains to Bournemouth and Portsmouth.

Latest promotions - save 50p when you buy any muffin and a hot drink. 

Quiet Zones - These are available on most services and can be identified by the blue labels in the window. Please respect other passengers wishing to sit in the Quiet Zone by keeping noise to a minimum.

Seat reservations - We no longer offer seat reservations on our trains and you are free to choose where you sit. Standard Class tickets are not valid in First Class except for Weekend First Upgrades or where you have paid the appropriate excess fare.

Smoking - For the comfort of all our customers, smoking is not permitted on any part of our trains or stations. You can smoke outside the station entrance or in our car parks.

Cycles on trains - Cycles are welcome on our trains and we ask that you familiarise yourself with our cycle policy before you travel

At the station

Station information - Check ticket office opening hours and find out which facilities are available at the station.

Car parks - Parking is available at most stations.

Assisted Travel - We aim to make our stations and trains available to as many people with disabilities as possible. Find out more about the services we offer to passengers with disabilities.
