Major engineering work on the South West Trains network 4 & 5 March
On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March, major engineering work is taking place across our network, leading to a reduced service on most routes. There will be a partial closure of London Waterloo and a limited number of lines to and from London Waterloo will remain open.
The following engineering works will take place across the weekend:
Lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction, including platforms 1 - 10 at London Waterloo, will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for preliminary work on the Waterloo and South West upgrade.
Lines between Woking and Basingstoke will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for planned engineering work.
Lines between Wimbledon and Surbiton will be closed all day Saturday for urgent bridge repairs.
Lines between Salisbury and Warminster will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for planned engineering work with NO South West Trains service between Salisbury and Bristol.
Lines in the Feltham, Staines and Virginia Water area will be closed all day Sunday for planned engineering work.
All Lines in the Woking area will also be closed for planned engineering work until late afternoon on Sunday.
Revised timetables will run for nearly all South West Trains services. You are strongly advised to consider whether your journey is necessary and to check before you travel at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Queenstown Road and Berrylands station will have no service throughout this weekend, and there will be no South West Trains services between Salisbury and Warminster.
If you are travelling:
to or from Queenstown Road station - you should use other stations nearby

between Salisbury and Bristol - you should use altered Great Western Railway services and replacement buses. Please see Great Western Railway publicity for more details
Bus replacement services will run:
between Basingstoke and Woking, with fast bus services running between Woking and Basingstoke to connect with a limited service from Woking to London Waterloo
between Virginia Water and Weybridge for Chertsey and Addlestone
from Clapham Junction to Effingham Junction and Hampton Court
