There have been recent issues with our Smartcard system and it's acceptance across Gatelines on our network and Transport for London ticketing facilities.
Work to resolve the issue has progressed well and we have seen a continued improvement in acceptance of SWT Smartcards at London Waterloo. Our suppliers are reporting that the necessary updates are now complete.
We expect the issue to be resolved by the end of this week, which will restore full Smartcard acceptance across the network (including Transport for London ticketing facilities).
