We can offer assistance and guidance for your journey
Wherever you are going on your travels with South West Trains, we are dedicated to making sure your journey is easy and enjoyable. Our Assisted Travel team are always on hand to help if you need any assistance or guidance when planning and making your journey.
Whether you book in advance or not, we will do everything we can to make sure that from the moment you enter our station, to the moment you reach your destination, your journey is as hassle free as possible.
All of our stations have facilities that are regularly updated, in order to make travelling easier for everyone. Hearing loops and wheelchair bays are just some of the features on our trains that are designed to make train travel more accessible for everyone. Watch these videos to see some of our excellent assisted travel facilities in action, as Sophie Morgan travels between London, Brighton, York and the New Forest.
We work with passengers, other transport providers, local authorities and disability groups on our network to improve our services. Combined with expertise on the Equality Act and other relevant legislation, we make sure that everyone’s rights are respected, and that we cater to everybody’s needs.
Additionally, we have a range of discounts available to customers with disabilities or impairments, including Disabled Persons Railcards, to help you save money on your journey.
