    Car parks

Car parking options available to you

Car parks are available at most of our stations offering daily parking for occasional users and parking season tickets for commuters.

Below, you will find a number of options available to you, including how you want to pay for your parking, the different ticket types and conditions.

    Buying your ticket

We offer a number of ways to pay for your parking ticket, and at busy times (generally before 0900 Monday - Friday) we recommend that you find a parking space before buying your parking ticket:

    Pay and display

You can pay with cash or card at our pay and display machines. Cash-only machines dispense tickets for up to three days’ parking. Card machines also provide weekend tickets and weekly season tickets.

    Self service ticket

Self-service ticket machines accept cash and cards. They can only be used for today's parking.

    Ticket office

You can purchase daily, weekend special or season tickets at the ticket office.

    Pay by mobile

RingGo is an app that allows you to pay for parking through your phone. It's currently available at 85 stations. See more on RingGo below.

Use your mobile phone to pay for your parking. It's simple and there's no need for you to display a parking ticket!

    To use RingGo, simply:

    1. Download the app or call RingGo: Download the app on iTunesor Google Play, or call the number on the tariff poster or pay and display machine.
    2. Register: Registering can be done before you set off, either on your phone or other device or using the app. All you need to register is your car registration, car colour, make and credit card details.
    3. Follow the instructions: Keep your credit/debit card handy and follow the simple instructions to register your car. Take note of the four digit parking code to input your parking spot of choice.
    4. Finalise payment: Check to make sure the tariff is correct and that's it! Text messages will keep you up to date on your parking and let you know when it is running out. If you want to extend your parking time then call the number, or do it easily with the app.

    Ticket types

We offer a number of parking ticket types to suit you, depending on how often you travel and how long you are staying.

Weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are available at the ticket office, or through our Customer Service Centre when you renew your rail ticket. However, be aware that some stations have waiting lists for new season ticket holders.
